  We took our small dog and we're not allowed access to the house so this us based on the outer grounds and facilities only, parking is atrocious, it needs a 1 way system and marked bays, good play area for kids, 2 walks although don't believe the "2 mile" distance it's a lot longer and the woods are quite boggy so wear good boots, there are a couple of shops and a church, that's about it.

  Our first visit to Sandringham Estate and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house itself was homely and fascinating. We did justice to the large grounds and enjoyed the walk. In addition to that is the motor museum which was interesting. Also in the grounds is the small, pretty church. Highly recommended day out.
